Here are a few ideas of activities for you to enjoy.
Combe Martin Beach has been included in the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide.
For walkers there is the well known South West Coast Path or themed walks/strolls such as Tarka the Otter or Lorna Doone, circular walks based on attractive pubs/tearooms or even snowdrops and bluebells in season. Views and countryside are stunning.
Cyclists have everything from quiet byways to challenging hills for roadies; moorland trails or muddy tracks for mountain bikers. Why not take part in the Exmoor Beast?
There is horse riding on beaches or gentle hacking, coasteering, sea kayaking and fishing, surfing, quad biking, shooting, diving, activity centres and great golf courses. If the activities don’t take your breath away the scenery will.
For those less energetic the car (or local buses) will take you to some of the best beaches and scenery in the world where wild deer, ponies, goats and birds of prey are often to be seen. You may indulge in a cream tea as well.
